Elgin County Conference Series presents...
Evolution of the Harvest
Wednesday March 3, 2010

A one-day seminar advancing the agricultural community towards a profitable, sustainable future.

Thank you to all of those who participated and made Evolution of the Harvest a great success.

We had over 70 people attend the seminar, to listen and ask probing questions of our seven knowledgeable speakers.

The expanding bioenergy sector offers tremendous potential for Elgin County farmers. New technologies are opening doors, and growers who take the time to learn about the latest innovations and the emerging trends can discover new opportunities for profit.

The Evolution of the Harvest seminar gave farmers, agricultural service providers, and rural leaders the opportunity to find out more what's around the corner and down the road for on-farm alternative energy, biomass, biofuel and energy crop developments. Dynamic keynote presentations were delivered by speakers ranging from innovative farmers to energy researchers.
