Success story

Rush Creek Wines

Rush Creek Wines has been owned and operated by Bonnie Preece for nearly a year and a half now. Upon taking over the winery, both Bonnie and Winemaker Ron Barr have developed a unique relationship in revamping Rush Creek Wines. The winery will continue to have the fan favourites that are loved by their loyal customers. They have also taken initiative to develop wines on their own, and are planning on producing new flavours in the future.

Since Bonnie's ownership, Rush Creek has proudly won three medals in the Finger Lakes Championship. In 2015, they received a silver medal for ‘Decadence’, a strawberry/chocolate flavour wine, which has been a customer favourite for some time. Just recently, in March 2016, Rush Creek was delighted to win two bronze medals in the same competition for their ‘Bonnies Blend’, and ‘Raspberry’ wines.

Come out and see the new look and feel of the winery. Renovations such as the updated front end winery and sampling area to greet customers, have been completed to prepare for the upcoming tourism season.

The retail space also has new products available from the Olive Tap House, Brown Eyed Baker, and Habitual Chocolate, just to name a few. Come and try these delicious cheesecakes and many other great products they carry such as cheese from Gunns Hill and Thornloe.

The patio and indoor tables are open for a glass of wine, sampling, or order from the varied menu. Bonnie and Ron look forward to seeing you soon!
