Success story

Ruby's Cookhouse

New to Ruby’s Cookhouse, but not new to the restaurant business, husband and wife Ted and Rose Fragiskatos, along with Teds brother Jason, took over the restaurant in September 2015. Rose grew up in Aylmer, met her husband through working at a restaurant in town that belonged to Jason, and created a home here, so Aylmer has always been a part of their lives.

Ted has always been a believer in fresh home-style cooking. From soups to sauces and burgers to chicken, people can expect made from scratch recipes with locally purchased vegetables and meats. Along with experienced kitchen staff members, Chris Burleigh and Brent Blackman, they are always trying new and creative features, such as Panini’s, pastas, salads, steaks and a variety of specialty dishes, for lunch and dinner to satisfy any appetite. In addition to lunch and dinner, Ruby’s serves breakfast all day and offers breakfast features on the weekend.

Small town Aylmer is the perfect place for a comfortable and welcoming environment with friendly staff and great food that makes you feel right at home. Ruby’s Cookhouse provides all of that and more, so come and enjoy the many delicious options Ted has under his chef’s hat. Don’t forget to finish it off with the sweet selection of cheesecakes because who doesn’t love a decadent end to a great day or night.
